About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Property and Projects Manager to oversee the property portfolio and capital works projects across our network. This role is pivotal in ensuring our property assets are effectively managed and aligned with ministry goals, community needs, and financial sustainability.

Reporting to the Head of Network Enterprises, you will work closely with the Network Resource Team (NRT), Churches of Christ Property Trust, and other key stakeholders to deliver property solutions that support our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee property maintenance, capital works, and project management.
  • Broker and manage property-related services through consultants and contractors.
  • Support churches with property compliance and maintenance.
  • Evaluate and manage church partnerships and grants.
  • Ensure alignment with CCNSWACT’s Property Asset Plan and strategic objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on property development, planning, and utilisation.

About You

  • Proven experience managing diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong knowledge of the development process and standards, including the Building Code of Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilities and real property asset management.
  • Project management expertise in property-based initiatives.
  • Ability to build trust and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation (building, planning, accreditation).
  • Budget planning and cost monitoring experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Current NSW Driver’s License and willingness to travel regularly.
  • Willingness to undertake a current national Criminal History Check and WWCC (for relevant positions) prior to employment.
  • Commitment to working within a Christian context and alignment with CCNSWACT’s values.
  • Must have permanent Australian work rights
