Position Title: Events Co-ordinator

Location: Hybrid (Rhodes office location + hybrid + visitations across NSW/ACT)

Hours: Part time, 3 days per week

churches of Christ in NSW & ACT is currently looking for a creative and experienced events co-ordinator to create environments that serve our network of Christian leaders.

You will work with a vibrant team who support a diverse range of churches across NSW & ACT creating events that facilitate relational interdependence, strengthen leadership capacity and deepen spiritual formation.

Responsible for end-to-end process event design and delivery, you will ensure that our events align and empower the mission and ethos of churches of Christ in NSW & ACT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of CCNSWACT’s key network events
  • Manage event programming to ensure relevance and alignment with the strategic priorities of CCNSWACT and its stakeholders
  • Oversee event logistics and production, working closely with our in-house Communications team
  • Ensure compliance with required professional standards, practices and procedures
  • Develop cross-entity relationships with key stakeholders to build collaboration and integration

You must:

  • Have demonstrated experience and/or training with event development, planning and delivery
  • Have demonstrated experience and/or training in Christian ministry, team leadership and strategy
  • Have ability to liaise effectively and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
  • Have a spirit of hospitality and personal presence
  • Be a person of spiritual integrity who closely aligns with the CCNSWACT mission and ethos
  • Have a current NSW Driver’s Licence
  • Possess a current national Criminal History Check
  • Possess a Working with Children Check and current Creating Safe Spaces Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
