Elders navigate leadership responsibility, grief and loss, conflict and challenge, often all the while organising, comforting and encouraging the fellowship of believers. Not to mention being people of prayer and seeking the Lord’s will in all things. As a network of churches that is committed to the recovery of New Testament practices, listening to our ‘wise ones’ is perhaps contrary to popular culture, but something desperately needed as followers of Christ.
