Big Yango Homestead in the Yengo National Park was the perfect base for the most recent Fresh Hope Pastors Spiritual Retreat. It was in this spectacular playground that leaders Leon Munro (Fresh Hope Ministers Care network) & Andrew Ranucci (Coast Community Church), were joined by other Pastors from across our movement to retreat, get to know each other and explore a fresh perspective on “Sabbath.”
Frosty mornings made way for perfect days as the group enjoyed space to study the Word of God, to wait on Him through quite reflection and to genuinely connect with each other. As they wound down in the evening, stories & prayers were shared around the warmth of the campfire. This was a Sabbath. A time to refresh, renew and restore their spirit, to press into God and really listen to what He has to say.
Sabbath isn’t just an idea. It was designed for us to spend time with God and to take care of ourselves; sometimes it’s neglected but that doesn’t make it any less important – especially in our current culture. Have you set time aside for your Sabbath?
If you are interested in joining Leon Munro on a Ministers Retreat or a Pastors & Wives Retreat, simply send him an email or give him a call.
