Creating Safe Spaces is our preferred safe ministry training program and is highly regarded, even amongst other sectors in the safeguarding sector. Endorsed ministers/chaplains and SRE teachers are required to complete the course every three years. Many churches require relevant staff and volunteers also to complete the course triennially.
The Creating Safe Spaces team are making a special discount offer available in 2023 to any church that has never hosted a CSS workshop. Usually, a CSS workshop is $25 per person, however for churches who have never hosted a CSS workshop, the cost is $10 per person (however a minimum number of 30 attendees is required).
If your church would like to host a workshop in 2023 (whether it is your first workshop or not), please fill out the workshop request form and indicate that you belong to churches of Christ.
Please note, that to fully complete the course, an online self-paced component also needs to be completed prior to a workshop ($10 per person).
