The NSW Drought was the focus of our latest ‘Mission Conversations’ on 26th September. Allan Vincent (Pastor at Dubbo Community Church) described what conditions were really like for farmers, particular the long term impact on farmer’s ability to recover. John Latta (Pastor at Tweed Heads Church of Christ) shared the experience of his church helping the community through natural disaster (2016 Floods) and the ongoing support still being provided to many homeless and struggling families in their area. He also shared about the current willingness of his church to assist drought affected regional communities. Have a listen to their stories in the video’s below.
