The third round of the Volunteer Pastoral Carers training program successfully graduated on Wed 28 November in Coffs Harbour. 11 volunteers were celebrated by members from the Mission & Ministry agency, Fresh Hope Care, local church pastors and family and friends. Volunteers shared stories of how the training had impacted their own lives and prepared them for providing pastoral care in Coffs Haven Residential facility. Please pray for our local chaplain, Moni Guidon as she supervises and supports the volunteers over the coming months.
There are now 40 volunteers who have been trained in 2018, now serving in Pendle Hill, Cherrybrook, Bateman’s Bay and Coffs Harbour. If you are interested in the Volunteer Pastoral Carers training program, please contact Taksan Scott on Taksan.scott@freshhope.org.au.
